Braselton will hold two public hearings to discuss recently proposed developments. The planning commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Jan.23 and the Braselton mayor and city council will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. Feb. 9 on the matters. Both meetings will be held at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.

One application up for approval includes a request by Wilwat Properties on property owned by HECE LLC. to build a 367-unit multi-family development on 27.94 acres on Highway 211 NW.

The second request is seeking re-zoning for a mixed-use development with 101 residential units including condominiums and detached single-family homes, as well as 17,825-square feet of commercial building space on 13.7 acres near Piedmont Avenue that is owned by Braselton Township Development LLC.
