A man was found dead Sunday in a creek in Douglas County, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A kayaker saw the man’s body in Sweetwater Creek near Woodrow Wilson Park in Lithia Springs and called officials, the news station reported.

Multiple agencies, including the Cobb County fire department, assisted Douglas County officials in recovering the body, according to Channel 2.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine the man’s identity and cause of death, a spokesman said. No other details have been released.
