If you shelled out extra dollars for front row seats to Thursday night’s Garth Brooks’ concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, then chances are you heard him belt out his entire set.

But for thousands of others, there was a lot of static , screeching or a bad echo in other parts of the stadium, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“You couldn’t make out anything,” fan Maureen Bornstein told the news station. “I know all of his songs, and I couldn’t even sing along because I couldn’t understand what he was saying.”

The concert is the first held at the stadium.

Concertgoers complained of audio issued during the opening acts. Stadium officials acknowledged the problems and said they were working to resolve the issues before Brooks took the stage.

But attendees tweeted that issues were unresolved and walked out before the concert ended, Channel 2 reported.
