Law enforcement professionals from around the country will meet in Alpharetta later this month as part of the police department’s effort to renew its national accreditation for another four years.
Members of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies will assess all aspects of the department’s operations and managements as part of the four-day visit, city officials said. They will review written materials, interview individuals, and visit offices and other places where compliance can be witnessed.
As part of the assessment, a public information and comment session has been set for 5 p.m. March 27 at Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta.
