State Rep. Ronnie Mabra, a Democrat who represents Fayetteville in District 63, announced this week he will not seek a third term. Instead, he will turn his attention to helping his wife Dawn pursue her goals of becoming a doctor. He also plans to take a more hands-on role in raising the couple’s infant son Ronald E. Mabra III born in September.

Mabra, an attorney who was raised in Fayetteville, will finish his current term. He was first elected in August 2012 and ran unopposed in 2014.
