School data — test scores, school climate ratings, numbers of teachers and their years of experience — are critical when answering the question, how good of a school are my children attending?

Years ago, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution gave readers the bright yellow, inch-thick Ultimate Atlanta School Guide. Today, we are again bringing all that information and more and putting it in a spot that you already carry in your pocket — on your smart phone.

Readers can access The Ultimate Atlanta School Guide at myajc.com, and get the latest information on test scores from the SATs to the Georgia Milestones, find graduation rates, the average experience of its teachers and much more.
