The National Association for Gifted Children has selected Jerilyn Williams, Talented and Gifted teacher at Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary School, as one of the 2016 Javits-Frasier Scholars. As a leader and voice for gifted children, Williams will engage with other scholars in sharing ideas, discussing solutions, and building lasting networks with other teachers of the gifted at the NAGC 63rd annual convention in Orlando, Fla.The Javits-Frasier Scholars Program seeks to identify passionate, innovative educators in communities across the country where students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are historically under-represented in gifted programs.
