Gwinnett County Schools will close two hours early today, according to a brief statement posted on the system’s Facebook page about 7:10 a.m.
It was the longest holdout among the metro area school systems. Many had made the call late yesterday afternoon.

A winter storm warning will go into effect for north Georgia Friday as a winter storm is expected to bring up to 4 inches of snow this weekend.
