Gwinnett County school board members approved late Thursday a plan to appoint two principals to lead two different schools.

Christine Knox, the current principal of Head Elementary School, will become the next principal of Anderson-Livsey Elementary School. Janice Warren, the current principal of Anderson-Livsey, is retiring from the district, officials said.

Tonya Burnley, the current principal of Gwin Oaks Elementary School, will become the new principal of Magill Elementary School. Gwinnett officials said the current principal of Gwin Oaks, Crystal Collins, is taking a private sector job.
