Chevron's Fuel Your School program, in partnership with DonorsChoose.org, and Councilman Kwanza Hall, recently surprised three teachers and more than 25 students at West Manor Elementary School with the funds and materials they requested for specific projects, amounting to over $5,500 worth of classroom supplies. Throughout October, the Fuel Your School Fuel-Up period, Chevron planned to donate $1 for each purchase eight or more gallons of fuel at participating Chevron and Texaco stations, up to a total of $400,000, to help fund eligible local classroom projects.
