The annual Black College Expo returns to Atlanta on March 28 at the Cobb Galleria Centre with opportunities for area students to learn more about higher education options at historically black institutions.

The expo will feature several student seminars involving college athletics, career planing and academic achievement, hosted by college experts and veteran hip-hop artist YoYo..

College recruiters will be on hand for one-on-one interviews providing application, admission and scholarship information. High school juniors, seniors and college transfer students must bring their official transcript and SAG/ACT scores to be eligible for on-the-spot college acceptance and scholarship offers.

Actor Kel Mitchell, from the Nickelodean series “Kenan & Kel” will also host a scholarship presentation and step show following the seminars.

The Atlanta event is one of several black college expos being hosted around the country by the National College Resources Foundation.

The expo runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets, $7-$10.
