Atlanta police are looking for four suspects believed to have assaulted a group of men on Edgewood Avenue early Saturday morning.

On Thursday, police released the video of the men in what they labeled a “horrible assault.”

Officers were flagged down while conducting a traffic stop near a club on Edgewood Avenue at Boulevard about 3:20 a.m., according to a police report.

A witness said a man was lying on the ground unconscious and bleeding from the head. Mark Calub was alert and breathing when the officer went over to him, but he couldn’t speak because blood poured from his mouth.

After an ambulance took Calub to the hospital, the officer found the men who were with Calub during the attack.

David Fang had a “huge knot on his left eye” when he told officers that four men attacked his friends. The men ran up and first punched Christopher Mason, knocking him out cold.

Fang was punched in the cheek and but ran to get the attention of a driver passing by, the report states.

Bystanders came over to help and Fang told police that’s when he saw Calub bleeding from the ears.

Fang called 911.

Mason told police he had been chatting with some guys at the nearby club before he was knocked out. The last thing he said he remembered was four men standing around him and his friends in a square formation.

Mason next remembered waking up on the concrete and saw people calling 911. Both Mason and Fang refused medical treatment, the report states.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information for police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, text information to 274637 or visit crimestoppersatlanta.org. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000.
