A fight between two Gwinnett high school students left one boy seriously injured and another facing charges, school officials say.

A 15-year-old student at Discovery High School was body slammed twice and left unconscious on the floor of a locker room Friday, a video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows.

“How dare you just leave a kid there to lie there unconscious for somebody to find him like that?” Brionna Rodriguez said. “That’s so sad.”

One of the students who watched the fight felt such disgust that he reached out to the news station.

James Rodriguez shared the viral video that he says another student recorded for attention.

“They could have had people break it up, but they decided to record the whole thing and it was childish,” Rodriguez told Channel 2.

It wasn’t the first time the boys had fought in school.

A student-made video from Wednesday, featuring the same boys fighting, led to the first set of charges for the 16-year-old.

Gwinnett County schools said in a statement the video Channel 2 forwarded to them on Friday led to the investigation being reopened and more criminal charges are pending against the older student.
