An unidentified person shot a man waiting for a MARTA bus near Panola and Redan roads in DeKalb County about 10 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Vincent Tate and Daniel Worthy, both 21, were approached by another man who fired several shots and struck Tate, according to a DeKalb County police report.

The suspected shooter ran off and Tate was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A cellphone and several shell casings were found by homicide detectives in a grassy area.
