“Other parties involved are not in custody at this time,” Campbell said.

The girl was shot during gunfire between two groups, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The incident was in the 3000 block of Clifton Church Road, police said. A group of teens in a car started chasing another group of teens in a white vehicle.

The white car crashed into a black car, police said. The first group of teens kept firing, and the girl, who was inside the black car, was hit in the buttocks.

The incident may be linked to car thefts in the area, police said.
