A student was charged after a threat was made Tuesday against Druid Hills High School, a school spokeswoman said.
The unspecified threat was discovered in a girls restroom and reported to the administration by students, according to a letter to parents from Principal Brittany Cunningham.
The student, who was not identified, was charged with terroristic threats and creating a school disturbance, spokeswoman Eileen Houston-Stewart said in an emailed statement.
“At no time was anyone harmed,” Cunningham said in her letter.
The school resource officer and administration “moved immediately to address the situation” using the DeKalb County School District’s threat assessment protocol, and additional school resource officers were sent to the school by the district, according to the letter.
Further details were not released.
