Atlanta police are searching for two suspects in an attempted robbery in Buckhead and a robbery in east Atlanta early Saturday. Police believe the incidents may be connected.

Officera were called to a Paces Ferry Road address about 3 a.m. Saturday after they received a report of a person shot, according to information provided by police.

A man and a woman at the scene told police they were walking home from a club when they were approached by two men who demanded their belongings.

One man pointed a silver pistol at them and demanded the man’s bookbag, police said. The robber then tried to take the woman’s purse, but she fought him off. He then fired his gun at them and ran.

The woman was grazed by a bullet, police said. When police arrived, she was bleeding but alert. It’s unclear whether she went to a hospital for treatment.

The vehicle in this incident is described by police as a red Chevy Tahoe with black tinted windows and a silver strip at the bottom.

In a robbery that police believe may have been committed by the same people, about 3:40 a.m. officers responded to a call of a person shot at 562 Gresham Ave.

Two victims told police they were approached by two people in a red SUV who demanded their belongings and then ordered them to remove their clothing.

During the robbery, one of the victims grabbed one of the suspect’s guns and was shot in the leg. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was in stable condition.
