A woman accused of killing another woman after a fight over a man has been charged with murder and aggravated assault, authorities said Wednesday.

Shontori Gooden was arrested Monday in Charlotte, N.C., Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Glenn Daniel said.

Officers received a tip that Gooden had left the metro area after she allegedly shot Nyla Foster in the thigh after they fought over a man.

She is being held in the Douglas County jail without bond, according to jail records.
