Already facing child molestation charges, a Henry County man was indicted for allegedly having child porn images on his home computer.

A 10-count indictment Aug. 10 charged Richard Fisher Hayes, 47, with possessing pornographic images of children, authorities said.

Hayes was downloading the images when Henry police and the GBI entered his McDonough home and arrested him in September, police spokesman Joey Smith said at the time.

Police said Hayes used two false online profiles to lure children to give him sexual images and engage in sexual activity.

Previously, Hayes pleaded not guilty to aggravated child molestation and two counts of child molestation after he allegedly molested a 15-year-old family friend, authorities said.

Allegations first came up after the girl told her parents that Hayes had unwanted sexual contact with her in Tybee Island, Channel 2 Action News reported. The girl’s parents were worried when her behavior changed and asked her what happened.
