A man was carjacked and shot to death in southwest Atlanta, police said.

Martin Hvizda, 31, was found Saturday in the 500 block of Joseph E Lowery Boulevard.

“The shooting appears to have been a result of a motor vehicle hijacking,” Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown said. “And the unknown suspects fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.”

The car is described as a silver Infiniti FX with tinted windows and black rims.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Atlanta police.
