A driver found a man’s body on the side of the road, and the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the man’s death as a homicide.
Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Bells Ferry Road just before 12:50 a.m. Sunday after the driver spotted the body of the unidentified man, Sheriff Clark Millsap said.
The area is about two miles from Ga. 20.
The man’s body is being taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab for an autopsy, Milsap said.
