A Gwinnett County man faces multiple charges in connection with a deadly crash in Hall County on Sunday, police said.

David Treadwell, 57, of Lilburn, failed to yield as he turned left onto McEver Road about 8:21 p.m., Hall sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said in a news release.

Treadwell’s Dodge Ram collided with a Chevrolet Impala driven by 78-year-old Herbert Kegley of Buford. The car behind the Impala was also involved in the collision, but the driver of that car was not injured, Wilbanks said.

Kegley and his wife, 72-year-old Carol Conrad, were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where Conrad later died of her injuries.

Kegley was treated and released, Wilbanks said.

Treadwell was arrested and booked in the Hall County jail on charges of homicide by vehicle, DUI, failure to yield, driving on suspended license or canceled registration and no proof of insurance.
