A Florida man is awaiting extradition to DeKalb County after he allegedly molested a 9-year-old in 2014, the sheriff said.

Irwin Keith Littles, 41, of St. Petersburg, raped the child sometime between January and May 2014 at a residence on Meadow Lane in Decatur, DeKalb Interim Sheriff Ruth Stringer said in a news release.

Warrants were issued June 9 for Littles, Stringer said. After a DeKalb sheriff’s investigation, Pinellas County, Fla., deputies arrested Littles on Wednesday without incident.

Littles is charged with felony rape, felony child molestation, felony aggravated child molestation (sodomy) and felony aggravated sexual battery, Stringer said. He will be booked into the DeKalb jail after he is extradited.
