A driver was killed Monday evening after a tractor-trailer crashed into a car and caught on fire in south Fulton County, police said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Fulton Industrial Boulevard and James Aldredge Boulevard, Fulton County police Cpl. Maureen Smith said.

“A fire ensued and engulfed the (tractor-trailer) and the car,” she said.

Police do not know if anyone else was in the car.
