Officials recovered the body in the same area the car was found, but Pihera said they are waiting on the medical examiner to determine if it is Park’s body and the cause of death. The body had no obvious signs of trauma.

Park, 54, has been missing since New Year’s Day. Police said he left his home and went to a store about 1:30 a.m. that day.

Park has a known medical condition and had not taken his medicine the two days leading up to his disapperance.
