Evans had two open cases at the time of the chase, Channel 2 reported. One case involved reckless conduct and obstruction of an officer charges, according to court records.

A bench warrant was issued for Evans’ arrest in April in the 2015 incident., according to court records. He was arrested and released from jail on those charges in May.

Evans’ next court date regarding the police chase is schedule for August, Channel 2 reported.
