Gwinnett County police are investigating a double shooting early Saturday near Norcross in which one man was found dead at an apartment complex.

Officers heard three gunshots shortly after 4 a.m., then drove into the Rockbridge Court Apartments near Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Channel 2 Action News reported.

A man who was shot in the arm approached police and said another man also was shot, the station reported. Police found the second victim, who was dead.

The first victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

The exact relationship between the victims is unknown at this time, police Cpl. Benjamin Finney said in a statement.

“Detectives do not believe either victim is responsible for the shooting,” Finney said.

There’s no information on possible suspects.
