Hall County authorities arrested a woman Thursday after she allegedly tried to influence a witness.

Beth Michelle Bayless, 51, of Flowery Branch allegedly tried to persuade a domestic assault victim to drop charges, Hall County sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said. The incident occurred May 2016.

Bayless was arrested at her home and charged with influencing a witness.

She also faces reckless conduct charges in a Feb. 21 incident where she discharged a firearm in the driveway of her home.

No other details were released.
