A suspected robber at North Point Mall in Alpharetta was rather bold about the alleged crime, police told Channel 2 Action News.
Surveillance cameras captured the man walking through the front doors, the station reported.
An employee door was forced open and the intruder apparently went straight for the food court during the November incident, police said.
He even knocked down one security camera to try to conceal his crimes, Channel 2 reported.
"There was a second camera inside the employee office that captured him doing his crime,” Alpharetta police Officer Jason Muenzer said. “He was seen rummaging through files, looking under desks."
Muenzer said the man took cash, then ran from the mall before anyone noticed him.
"We're asking the public to take a look at those photos, take a look at the video and see if they can't help us, again, break another case,” he said.
Shopper Mikayla Emich was surprised how bold the man was, striking just before the mall opened.
“If there’s cameras everywhere, in today’s age, I don’t think that’s a very smart idea,” she said.
