The decomposed bodies of a man and a woman were found Saturday afternoon inside a car in the 3300 block of Fairburn Road, Channel 2 Action News reported.

About 1 p.m., an apartment manager discovered the bodies in the back seat of a Kia sedan at the Retreat at Marketplace, Channel 2 Action News reported.
It’s not clear how long the bodies had been there.
"The state of decomposition is what really caused us some problems with trying to find injuries and identification," police Lt. Charles Hampton told Channel 2.
One neighbor said the car had been parked in the same spot for up to two weeks.
