Atlanta is 21st among large cities in the U.S., according to Walk Score, an index that measures the walkability of cities and neighborhoods across the country, and scores them from zero to 100 based on the distance to amenities. Although Atlanta is largely car-dependent, with a score of 46, the city boasts several neighborhoods that don’t require a car to complete day-to-day tasks. Here are Atlanta’s 10 most walkable neighborhoods.
