While thousands of terrified concert goers ran for their lives Sunday night, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers ran toward the danger.

Footage captured by officers’ body cameras depicts the ordeal from a harrowing vantage point.

“Get out of here! Go that way!” an officer is heard warning people as bullets rain down from above.

“They’re shooting right at us, guys, stay down,” an officer urges his colleagues as the air fills with prolonged volleys of gunfire.

Warning: this may be upsetting to some viewers.
