Cobb County police arrested a woman who allegedly stole a Cobb police car and led officers on a chase down Interstate 75 on Sunday afternoon.

Police said officers had stopped the woman on Windy Hill Road at I-75. During the traffic stop, the woman managed to get into the police car and take off, police said.

The chase ended on I-75/85 near North Avenue around 4:30 p.m., where police arrested the woman.

According to Channel 2 Action News, the crash injured several people, including a Cobb County officer. No details were available on the injuries.

Only one lane of I-75/85 southbound was open at 6:30 p.m. as police investigated the incident.
