Dante Harris was a high school standout in terms of his grades, despite a troubled home life that left him virtually homeless at times.

Amber Massey, a local woman who helps young people going through hard times, took him under wing, and with her tenacious assistance, helped him get a $70,000 scholarship to the military school at the University of North Georgia.

He had been doing well there, until he took a photo of a school official at a urinal and shared it with friends.

Now Harris is facing punishment at the school, the potential loss of his scholarship and felony charges related to taking the photo.
