A Canton man was killed Friday evening in a four-car crash on Hickory Flat Highway in Cherokee County, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said.

About 7:30 p.m., a car traveling westbound crossed the center line and hit an eastbound car, Baker said.

That collision sent the eastbound car across the center line, where it was hit from the side by a third vehicle, a Jeep, which was westbound, Baker said. This collision fatally injured the driver of the second car, Baker said.

The victim was identified as Corey Forman, 21, Baker said Saturday.

The first car also hit a fourth vehicle, which was eastbound, Baker said. The fourth car left the roadway and went down an embankment.

The driver of the first car was taken to WellStar North Fulton Hospital, Baker said. She was identified as Wendy Millican, 44, of Canton.

“Preliminary indications are that Millican's vehicle crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, which resulted in the 4 car accident,” Baker said Saturday.

The driver of the Jeep was not injured, Baker said. The driver and two passengers in the fourth vehicle were not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
