A county official told the news station that the fire started after a driver pulled into the parking lot with his car smoking. It eventually caught fire, and the blaze then spread to the other vehicles.

Fulton County police notified the owners of the vehicles about the fire, county spokesman Darryl Carver said in a statement.

“How am I going to get home?” employee Jewel Pyle asked Channel 2 while surveying the damage to her car.

The county spokesman told Channel 2 that employees will have to file a claim with their personal insurance company.

Officials said the victim lived alone in the home.
