Five people were taken to a hospital after they were hurt in a car crash early Sunday morning.

The wreck happened about 4:30 a.m. on Ga. 400 northbound just south of Holcomb Bridge Road, according to Roswell police spokeswoman Sgt. Britney Rodgers.

The five people involved in the wreck are stable, Rodgers said. No other details about the wreck were released. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The crash blocked traffic on Ga. 400 for hours while authorities responded. The roadway reopened about 9:25 a.m.

Of the 700 patients at the hospital,?at least 150 patients will be transferred to other facilities.
