Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was in jail last week for allegedly beating up his son in 2012, according to media reports.

The hip-hop star, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, was charged with battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats, according to jail records.

He was booked into the Fulton County jail on Friday and later released on $45,000 bond, according to jail records.

TMZ reports that Jenkins got into a fight with his son in September 2012 and threw him into a glass shower window. Jenkins punched his son, and a bodyguard blocked the son’s escape, according to TMZ.

The age of Jenkins’ son is unclear.

Jenkins turned himself in Friday after an arrest warrant was issued, according to reports.
