An arrest has been made in the January stabbing death of an Atlanta pastor.

Toney Lee Wiley, 38, was arrested Tuesday and faces a murder charge in the death of the Rev. Otis Byrd.

Members of God’s Anointed Missionary Baptist Church on Memorial Drive went to Byrd’s house on Jan. 5 after he didn’t show up at the church to lead service.

Byrd, 50, was found dead on the floor of his home in the 600 block of Finley Avenue.

Wiley was arrested and taken to the Fulton County jail.
