The man who shot Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt in 1978 was executed in Missouri on Nov. 20, 2013. In this 1977 photo, Larry Flynt sells his magazine over the counter of a book shop in Atlanta. He leased the shop for a day to sell his magazine, daring local officials to arrest him on obscenity charges. They did and he faces trial in Fulton County, Georgia. (AP photo/AJC files)
