Atlanta-based skincare brand, Little Barn Apothecary, has been praised for natural and organic beauty products in Elle and Vogue magazines. In just a few years, the brand has reached high-end spas around the world and operates a retail shop in Atlanta. Now they are opening up another store in the natural living community known as Serenbe.

Much like Little Barn, Serenbe promotes natural and organic living. The community is focused on preserving the beauty of nature while allowing residents and visitors to experience healthy living through yoga, biking, healthy eating and much more. So when Joshua Morgan and Brad Scoggins, co-owners of Little Barn Apothecary, were asked to open a new store in one of Serenbe's retail spaces, they did.

"They love our brand they love everything that we do and there was just a lot of synergy there as far as our philosophy being organic and natural and also being able to fill sort of a void in the natural beauty space in that market out in Chattahoochee Hills," said Morgan.

Little Barn will be the first skincare brand in the area. Previously, Little Barn hosted evening pop-up events in the Serenbe community and would sell out of products. It all served as confirmation that they should open a location in the area.

The new store in Serenbe is bigger than the first shop in Atlanta giving the owners an opportunity to do more with 500 square feet of retail space and 200 square feet of outdoor space.

In the future, Little Barn plans to host skincare and yoga classes for their customers which will be promoted through social media and the Serenbe newsletter.

"We want to do some master class events where we're teaching the customers how to take care of their skin in the appropriate way," said Morgan.

The new location opened March 4 and already attracting clientele who seek Little Barn products along with other brands sold including Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop, D.S. Durga fragrances and Boy Smells Candles. Having a store in the Serenbe community offers a different type of exposure to the brand.

"It's not only a great community, but it's also becoming a great destination spot for people who are traveling and for people who are looking for a unique place to visit so we are also being able to tap into that as well," said Morgan. "It's been a lot of fun already."

Store hours are Wednesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sundays 12 - 5 p.m. Visit Serenbe online to learn more .
