Restaurants around the country are preparing for a busy day on Sunday as many families plan to dine out to celebrate Easter.
In a recent National Retail Federation survey, 17 percent of those responding said they plan to eat out on Sunday, compared to 57 percent who said they will cook a holiday meal at home.
If you are going to take the day off from cooking and want to relax with family and friends at a local restaurant, here are a few deals that you might want to consider.
Easter brunch deals
Applebee's – The chain is offering a free child's meal with the purchase of an adult meal.
Bakers Square – You can call now to order Easter pies.
Bob Evans – Bob Evans is offering two specials: a "Carryout Farmhouse Feast" that feeds four or eight and includes a choice of ham, turkey or both, and a "Dine-in Premium Brunch Feast" that feeds six to eight and includes Sticky Bun French Toast Bake, Veggie Scrambler, a choice of breakfast meat, fresh fruit and orange juice.
Bonefish Grill – Easter brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Boston Market – Boston Market has two specials for Easter: a carryout special that includes a complete spiral-cut ham dinner for 12 for $109.99, and a dine-in special that includes a honey-glazed ham meal for $11.99. The meal includes a choice of two sides, cornbread and a slice of apple pie.
Bravo Cucina Italiana – A special Easter brunch menu will be available until 3 p.m. The full menu is available after that.
Brio Tuscan Grille – The restaurant will serve an Easter brunch.
Brixx Wood Fired Pizza – Brixx is offering half-price bottles of wine.
Buca di Beppo: The restaurant offers an Italian-style brunch that begins at 11 a.m. It features house bread, a choice of Caesar or mixed greens salad, linguine and clams or shrimp scampi and mini cannoli.
Carvel – You still have time to order specialty Easter cakes to be picked up before Easter.
Cheddar's Casual Cafe – Cheddar's is offering two specials: a free appetizer with an adult entrée purchase, and a free dessert with an adult entrée purchase.
Chevy's Fresh Mex – Two children can eat free on Easter Sunday with an adult entrée purchase.
Claim Jumper – Easter brunch is $24.99, and will be served from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cracker Barrel – Cracker Barrel is offering a "Heat 'n Serve Easter Family Meal" for up to 10 for $109.99. The meal includes sliced ham, sides and a dessert.
Fleming's – A three-course Easter brunch is $44.95 and is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch includes a choice of soup or salad, entrée, sides and dessert.
Great American Cookies – The company is offering Easter cookie cakes, plus $3 off a 16-inch or larger cookie cake.
IHOP – IHOP will host its annual Easter brunch.
Macaroni Grill – The restaurant has two offers available on Easter: $2 mimosas and Bloody Marys and 25 percent off the restaurant's eGift card.
McCormick & Schmick's – McCormick & Schmick's has Easter brunch offerings; check local restaurants for deals and hours.
Melting Pot – The Easter bunny will make an appearance at the Sunday Easter brunch. Brunch will be served beginning at 11 a.m., and will feature a three-course meal, including a cheese fondue, a select fondue entree and a chocolate fondue for dessert. The cost is $27.95 per person; children 11 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult meal.

Mimi's Café – You can choose from two offers at Mimi's on Easter. One is a chef-prepared takeaway dinner that feeds six to eight for $89.99. The meal includes smoked ham with orange Dijon glaze, scalloped potatoes au gratin, home-thyme glazed carrots, green beans with caramelized onions and bacon, spinach salad with strawberries and goat cheese and raspberry brown-butter bread. The second is a dine-in, three-course Easter brunch for $18.99 for adults and $8.99 for children. The brunch includes an appetizer, turkey or hickory-smoked ham and dessert. You get a free entrée on your next visit with the purchase.
Morton's: Morton's is offering a steak and lobster meal for $56.
Ninety Nine Restaurants – An Easter dinner featuring roast leg of lamb, lobster tail, prime rib and more will be offered on Easter. You can make any entrée a three-course meal for an extra $3.79.
Outback Steakhouse – Outback will give guests a scratch card for a chance to win free Outback food for a year.
Roy's Restaurant – Roy's will offer a three-course Easter special starting at $36. Brunch is served beginning at 9 a.m.
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse – Ruth's Chris will open early on Easter and serve a surf-and-turf menu featuring a "Filet & Twins Tail" (two lobster tails and either a 6- or 8-ounce filet) or a "Ribeye & Twin Tails" (12- or 16-ounce ribeye with two lobster tails).
Spaghetti Warehouse – You can get a family feast for four for $30 on Easter.
Texas Corral – You can get an Easter Sunday country ham dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $12.99 for adults and $5.99 for children. The dinner features Virginia smoked ham topped with pineapple relish and is served with green beans, mashed sweet potatoes and choice of soup or salad.
Texas Steakhouse & Saloon – Ministers eat free from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Cheesecake Factory – Easter brunch will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch menu includes fried chicken and waffles Benedict, poached eggs with hollandaise and more.
