Summertime brings the arrival of outdoor movie season in metro-Atlanta.

Most screenings begin at dusk (about 7 or 8 p.m.), though the festivities may kick off as early as 5 p.m with some pre-movie activities such as musical performances and family fun.

Some locations allow you to bring a picnic but check each event before you attend for restrictions on food, alcohol, containers and weather cancellations.
