Want to break into the entertainment business?

Comedian and actress Cocoa Brown is holding a "Stage to Screen Actors Studio," beginning March 20 through May 31.

The 10-week program will include tips for successful monologues, scene study, how to land an agent, on-camera auditions and learning the ins and outs of the business.

The Atlanta-based funny woman has landed roles in the “Singles Mom’s Club”, “Ted 2, ” and “For Better or Worse.”

Georgia is a top destination for film and television work.

In fiscal 2016, Georgia-based feature films and television productions generated an economic impact of $7.2 billion.

The Motion Picture Association of America said the film and television industry is responsible for more than 85,300 jobs in the state.

Tuition for the actor's studio program is $498. If you register by Friday, it's $398. The course will be held at Dance 411, 475 Moreland Ave. S.E.
