Ever wonder where’s the safest place to live on the north side of Fulton?
According to a new study from ValuePenguin, Johns Creek was not only the safest city in North Fulton, it was ranked as safest in all of Georgia.
The study ranked 99 cities in Georgia with populations above 5,000 by their crime rates. These include both property and violent crimes recorded by law enforcement agencies in FBI records. Violent crimes were weighted more heavily to rate a city’s “safety.”

Analysts found the top five safest towns tend to have wealthy or middle class residents, though they come in multiple sizes.
Johns Creek took the number-two spot on the overall list for Georgia last year. Another ranking from SafeWise using FBI data placed Johns Creek similarly high up as two on their list.
Fellow North Fulton city Milton also placed in ValuePenguin's top five as the fourth-safest city in the state.
