San Francisco-based same-day grocery delivery company Instacart is adding five new zip codes to its distribution area in metro Atlanta starting today.

Residents in zip codes 30301 in downtown Atlanta, 30315 in South Atlanta, 30092 in Peachtree Corners, 30066 in Marietta and 30021 in Clarkston now have access to the service, the company says.

Instacart picks up groceries from such grocers as Whole Foods Market, Costco, Kroger, Publix and Petco for those with four-legged and other critters.

Instacart, which launched in Atlanta two years ago, has since doubled its fleet of Atlanta shoppers and has seen average basket sizes grow by double-digits monthly.

With the addition of the new delivery zones brings, Instacart now delivers to more than 50 metro Atlanta zip codes, mostly in the city of Atlanta and in North Fulton.

Those zip codes are:

Atlanta: 30002, 30030, 30032, 30033, 30079, 30303, 30305, 30306, 30307, 30308, 30309, 30312, 30313, 30314, 30316, 30317, 30318, 30322, 30324, 30326, 30329, 30332, 30334, 30345, and 30363.

North Atlanta/OTP: 30008, 30060, 30062, 30067, 30068, 30080, 30082, 30319, 30327, 30328, 30338, 30339, 30340, 30341, 30342, 30346, 30350, and 30360.

North Fulton: 30004, 30005, 30009, 30022, 30075, and 30076.
