Networking can be a grueling task for millennials? Luckily, in Atlanta, there are plenty of professional clubs to help young creatives navigate the business scene. Here are five.

Technology Association of Georgia | Young Professionals

Technology Association of Georgia or TAG gathers once a month to enable members to expand their network and find worthwhile opportunities to volunteer and to receive support beyond work. The organization offers events, training opportunities and even a job board. An annual membership for a student or professor runs around $135 for renewal and up to $290 for a first time single professional.

Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce | ATLeaders

Several of the chamber of commerce organizations peppered across metro Atlanta offer young professional groups. Within the last few weeks, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce launched its first ever ATLeaders organization. According to a press release, ATLeaders "will focus on providing young leaders with access to the business community, a network of their peers and the ability to create social impact, specifically in the areas of transit and food insecurities." The council is chaired by Atlanta professionals from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Georgia Power, Google and King of Pops. It has a 25-member steering committee and is open to all MAC members under 40.

Young Professional Leaders | United Way of Greater Atlanta

The United Way of Greater Atlanta's Young Professional Leaders program is "dedicated to engaging the next generation of philanthropic leaders and connecting members with programs and issues they are passionate about." Membership ranges from monthly installments of $42 or a one-time payment of $500 or $1,000.

Network Under 40

Network Under 40 mixes "business and pleasure, throwing out the conventional wisdom that says you have to change who you are to 'be professional.'" Instead, the group encourages members to enjoy themselves while creating meaningful relationships and social activities. It is driven by a calendar of events, which are clearly outlined on the organization's website. Most are available to attend by purchasing a ticket. You also have the option of organizing or sponsoring an event.

Social Media Club Atlanta

Social Media Club Atlanta is a local chapter of the national organization. According to its website, the group's "primary mission is to expand digital media literacy, promote standard technologies, encourage ethical behavior and share best practices." It strives to bring together creatives such as journalists, publishers, artists and teachers who work to better the media industry. Annual membereships range from $25 to $2,500 for corporations, small businesses, professionals, non-profits and students.
