If you're looking for a job, several metro Atlanta companies are making big hires this March. The following are a few that have posted large numbers of openings in a wide variety of skill sets, including links so you can apply:
The company announced on March 2 that it's hiring more than 80,000 temporary employees to work in its stores and distribution centers in the busy spring season. This is a common occurrence this time of year for the Atlanta-based home supplies company, and 1,200 of the jobs will be in metro Atlanta. Although the positions are temporary, you may have the chance to get your foot in the door and become a permanent employee. About half the seasonal hires last year went on to become permanent employees, the company said.
They're looking for employees for positions such as customer service and sales, lot associates, freight and receiving, store support, cashiers and merchandise display set-up. Apply online if you're interested in one of these positions.

Atria Senior Living
Atria employs about 12,500 people nationwide, and the need for senior living communities is expected to increase even more.
About 175 job openings are currently listed for the five supportive facilities the company operates in the metro Atlanta area, including plenty of full-time and part-time positions. Job openings include program directors, cooks, shift/charge nurses, receptionists, drivers, concierges and more.
AT&T
About 15 metro Atlanta jobs were posted in just one day on Monster.com by AT&T, with over 250 posted in the past 30 days. Openings include positions for data analysts, store managers, marketing managers and installation technicians.
The company is headquartered in Dallas, but its wireless division is based in Atlanta.
Macy's
Macy's has started March with plenty of metro Atlanta job openings on Monster.com, with about 50 being posted on a single day.
Openings include sales positions, a senior business analyst and many systems and technology jobs based in Johns Creek.
