Developer Novare Group and its partners plan to hold a ceremonial groundbreaking on Friday for its new high-rise apartment brand known as Atlantic House.

Atlanta-based Novare, Batson-Cook Development Co. and Batson-Cook Construction are partners in the apartment tower to be built at 14th and West Peachtree streets in Midtown Atlanta, not far from the Woodruff Arts Center. The ceremony is invitation-only.

The 32-story tower will feature more than 400 units, as well as street-front retail and two rooftop pools. Novare is also the developer behind the fast-growing SkyHouse brand, with towers in Midtown, Buckhead and several Southeastern cities. The new Midtown tower is the latest is a series of luxury apartment high-rises to be launched post-recession.
